Industrial hemp is a plant variety derived from the genus Cannabis sativa L. and is among the same species as marijuana. It contains a low concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a chemical compound known for its hallucinogenic effects. Industrial hemp contains less than 0.3 percent THC, which means it cannot be used as a drug. The hemp plant is typically processed into commodities such as textiles, fiber, forage and cosmetics.

Will it fail a field test?

YES, any substance that contains a trace of THC will show positive for THC on a field test. The only way to ensure it is industrial hemp flower is to have lab reports or lab results test under 0.3% delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

How is it legal?

Section 7606 of the Farm Bill defines industrial hemp as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 has removed hemp (defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC) from Schedule I controlled substances and making it an ordinary agricultural commodity.

Will I fail a drug test?

Though our Diesel pre rolls and hemp flower are under the legal limit, there is still a hint of THC that may come up in a drug screen so we do not suggest you to use it as a substitute or alternative to any illegal substance - no matter the serving size.
